
Once a year, without exception. Annual servicing is required to keep most manufacturer warranties valid and is the most effective way to keep your boiler safe and running efficiently throughout the year. We'd recommend booking before October so you're covered heading into winter.
Book one as soon as possible. A missed service doesn't mean your boiler is about to fail, but it does mean developing faults may have gone undetected. We'll carry out a thorough inspection, bring you fully up to speed on the condition of the boiler, and advise on anything that needs attention.
In most cases, yes. Baxi, Ideal, and Worcester Bosch all require annual servicing by a Gas Safe registered engineer as a condition of their warranty. If something goes wrong and you can't evidence regular servicing, the manufacturer is under no obligation to cover the cost of repair or replacement.
Yes. Most developing faults show no obvious symptoms until they cause a breakdown or, in more serious cases, a safety issue. A boiler that appears to be working fine can still have components that are wearing, seals that are deteriorating, or pressure issues building. A service catches all of it early.
